Out of School
Being out of school during my high school years gave me a lot of opportunities and lessons in life. I went to an International school in cebu cause I was on scholarship but due to laziness and "easy go lucky" lifestyle I lost my scholarship. Well that made me qualified to be an Out of School youth. I learned lesson #1
Never take your studies for granted, especially when your on scholarship!(duh!) Then an opportunity came, the Department of Education offered a program for out of school people to take an "equivalency" examination that would allow me and other young people who are out of school to take an exam that if we pass would allow us to go to college immediately. Plus they gave me and other kids a Free review to help us achieve better scores. Lesson #2
Always take advantage of an opportunity that appears. I am now done taking the examination but I am currently waiting for the results. So I am into part-time website development. To earn some cash before the college semester starts. Lesson #3
Use your time wisely. Hope my little bit of intel would help inspire others out there. God Bless!
